Now, back to reality, I was hold up at railway crossing, at this crossing the guard has tendency to close the gates of crossing much earlier than required, which generally annoys me but today i was in a kind of trance. I stopped at crossing and started observing peoples faces and i found that there are many things one can see on a person's face by just plainly observing it. Given below are some characters i observed
a) Simple man on Activa: He was talking on his mobile phone. his expression said that he was talking to his wife. Very controlled emotion on face but eyes giving up. Frustration and kind of helplessness clearly seen on his face when you understand that there is no point in argument even if you are right. His attitude towards crossing gates : Its all crossing gates fault for his frustration in life.
b) Young man on Honda shine: Looking at crossing gates with almost an air of contempt as if to say he really doesn't care for crossing gates or train behind that or people in that train or even people around them. He felt as if anything around him was immaterial and only thing that matter in this universe was himself. His attitude towards crossing gates: I have only stopped at you because of courtesy in me, really you or for that matter anybody can't stop me i don't wish to.
c) Middle Aged man in Hyundai Accent: Almost relieved to see gates closed. He had a look of runner on his face who is a specialist in 100 meters but has participated in 10 km marathon, by mistake. he saw crossing gates as a coconut tree leaf in middle of Pacific ocean and himself clinging on to it. His attitude towards crossing gates: Thanks buddy, you and things like you help me to have a breather in race of life.
d) Ageless common man in ST Bus: Starring at closed gates of crossing and thinking, Oh! its closed, i cannot do anything about it. The bus i am sitting in, is making much noise and suspension is not good, well what can i do about it?. Why am I in bus and not in the accent? well it is destined to be so, I can't do anything about it. His attitude towards Crossing gates: You are very important in life and i am nothing. I wish i could be as important as you or any other thing but i am not. well, what can i do about it?.
e) Teenager in CBZ Extreme: Well this idiotic crossing gate. you come in my way as all the useless things that have tried to stop my march forward. Huh! you will not succeed as anyone has not succeeded in creating hurdles for me. its a matter of few minutes and then i will resume my success journey. I am the best and things like you will not stop me being the best. His attitude towards crossing gates: You are a speedbreaker and nothing more. You are too unimportant for me to think about you more than this.
Finally train passes and crossing gates opens. Vehicles rush in order to outrace one another. All the thoughts at crossing parishes. Everybody forgets their thoughts at crossing gates and thinks the same thing. how do i overtake next vehicle? how do i come out of this uncomfortability and go back to my comfort zone. After clearing up of traffic everybody's mind changes. The thoughts are:
a) Oh! i must not forget the tomatoes she has asked me to get..
b) I must encounter that useless government clark quickly.
c) I must have one more factory in saurashtra region.
d) Why dont i get better deals in life....
e) What is the weak point of my latest competitor...
And Life Goes on
Interesting. Well begun!
